Identity information: to match you to your credit file, we collect your Social Security Number, date of birth, and address. This information is encrypted and used only to verify your identity and obtain your credit data.
Credit information: reports, scores, and related data we obtain from consumer reporting agencies on your behalf.
Usage information: device, log, and interaction data collected as you use the Service.
How we use your information
We use your information to verify your identity, provide credit monitoring and alerts, operate and secure the Service, communicate with you, process payments, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Service: with credit reporting agencies and identity/verification providers to obtain your data; with service providers (e.g., hosting, email, payment processing) under contract; and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
How we protect your information

Sensitive fields such as your SSN and date of birth are encrypted at the application layer (AES-256) and transmitted over TLS. Access is limited on a need-to-know basis.
